Description

The Produce Wreck was created in 1974 when Norwegian tanker sank just off the coast near the town of Umkomaas, striking the Aliwal Shoal on the Northeast Pinnacles. It is a 119m/390ft long and 13500 ton tanker which now lies on her side and offers shelter to a wide variety of fish. The wreck is broken up in two main parts: the bow, which still has a spare propeller, and the stern. Both parts are surprisingly well preserved and are safe to be explored by divers.
